Thank you for using StrengthTempo. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the app. Please read this policy carefully before using the app.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Workout and app data
We process the information you create or generate when using the app, including but not limited to:
- Custom exercise names
- Tempo settings such as eccentric, pause, and concentric timing
- Workout settings such as sets, reps, and rest intervals
- Workout templates, workout plans, and workout history
- App preferences and settings such as language, interface preferences, and sync options
1.2 Subscription-related information
If you use subscription features in the app, we may process subscription-related information through third-party subscription infrastructure, such as product identifiers, subscription status, purchase or restore results, and anonymous identifiers used to determine entitlement status inside the app.
1.3 What we do not store on our own servers
Except as described in this policy, we do not store your workout content, templates, or workout history on servers operated by us.
2. Storage and Syncing
2.1 Local storage
By default, your workout data and app settings are stored locally on your device.
2.2 iCloud syncing
If you enable iCloud syncing, relevant app data may be synchronized to your personal iCloud account so your data can stay consistent across your devices signed in with the same Apple Account. This functionality relies on Apple's iCloud / CloudKit services.
2.3 No independent cloud hosting by us
At this time, we do not provide our own separately operated cloud hosting service for your workout content.
3. How We Use Information
We use the relevant information to:
- Provide core app features such as workout tracking, tempo setup, and template management
- Enable cross-device syncing when you turn on iCloud syncing
- Support subscription entitlement, subscription status recognition, and purchase restore
- Maintain app functionality and troubleshoot issues related to syncing or subscriptions
4. Third-Party Services and Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workout content for advertising transactions.
The app may use the following third-party services when necessary to provide specific features:
- Apple iCloud / CloudKit, if you enable syncing
- RevenueCat, for subscription status management, entitlement handling, and restoring purchases
We only use or share relevant information to the extent necessary to provide these features.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect relevant information. However, no method of transmission over the internet, cloud service, or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your Control Over Your Data
You can manage your data by:
- Deleting exercises, templates, plans, and workout history inside the app
- Turning off iCloud syncing in the app settings
- Uninstalling the app to remove locally stored data from your device
Please note that if you previously enabled iCloud syncing, uninstalling the app usually removes local data from the device but may not automatically remove data already stored in your personal iCloud account. That data may need to be managed through your Apple Account or iCloud settings.
7. Permissions
The app only requests system capabilities or permissions when required for relevant functionality. If future versions introduce features that require additional permissions, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
8. Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time based on product changes, legal requirements, or service updates. The updated version will be made available in the app or on the relevant page, and the date at the top of this policy will indicate the latest update.
